Activity Fun Day

All of us at Carsington Sports & Leisure Ltd are proud to be celebrating our 20th year of activities on and around Carsington Water. Starting out in 1992 as a small activity centre offering windsurfing, paddle sports and cycle hire we have grown to a recognised teaching establishment with RYA status in Windsurfing, Sailing and Powerboating. We thus provide tuition, courses, instructor training and equipment hire to individuals and groups of all ages.

On Saturday 30th June we would like you to come and help us mark the occasion by having a go at our regular activities of Sailing, Windsurfing, Kayaking, Climbing and Fly Fishing with taster sessions for beginners or trying out some unusual activities and adding a difference to the day with Archery or Aqua Zorbing.

For all of our water activities the specialist equipment will be included, all you need to bring is swimwear, a towel and shoes you can wear in the water. For Archery and Fly Fishing you just need yourself and for Climbing a suitable pair of shoes will be required.

If you don’t feel like committing to one of these sessions then just come and have a look at what we are about and what we will be doing throughout our 20th year. You can hire family rowing boats, Canadian canoes, sit on top kayaks or bikes.
Although our centre very much revolves around the water’s edge we must not forget the fantastic scenery we are situated in and you can explore this further by hiring our mountain bikes or our new range of power assisted, electric bikes to ride around the reservoir’s circular route.

Many of the activities for the day will need to be pre booked so take a look at the activity list below and book the activities that take your fancy.

Remember they are all aimed at those who don’t have any previous experience and you only need to be water confident for the water based taster sessions.

We will still be operating as normal for launch and equipment hire; it would be great to see our regular customers and those all important staff from the past!
