Here at Carsington Sports and Leisure, we have added a fun outdoor climbing tower to our already extensive repertoire of exciting activities available.

The outdoor climbing wall measures 7.3 metres (24 feet) high, and features a variety of climbing routes to provide challenge to novices and the more experienced alike.

This new facility introduced in 2008 is suitable for individual adults and youngsters (8+) as well as school and youth groups, corporate team building and birthdays, stag and hen groups and other celebrations.

At weekends you can simply arrive for“pay and climb” without pre-booking from just £5.

Special Skills Clinics

We understand that people may be finding it more difficult to give up their time and money to attend a full two day course, so new for this year we have developed a series of clinic based sessions that only last two hours. Click here for a list of dates and to book your place.

Intro to Climbing Techniques Clinic
Do you want to learn more about the basic rope work skills required for the sport of climbing? Using the safe environment of our artificial tower, our experienced staff will introduce you to the basic knots, rope skills and belay techniques to get you started in the climbing world. No experience is required but a basic knowledge of rope and knots would be an advantage. There will also be some time in this session to get a few routes done and work on your own climbing technique.
