Now the sky is (almost!) the limit at Carsington Water in Derbyshire.

Carsington Sports and Leisure who manage the activities centre at this popular leisure location have added a fun outdoor climbing wall to their already extensive repertoire of exciting activities available.

The outdoor climbing wall measures 7.3 metres (24 feet) high, and features a variety of climbing routes to provide challenge to novices and the more experienced alike.

This new facility introduced in 2008 is suitable for individual adults and youngsters (8+) as well as school and youth groups, corporate team building and birthdays, stag and hen groups and other celebrations.

At weekends you can simply arrive for“pay and climb” without pre-booking from just £5.

Please note the wall may not be in operation due to adverse weather conditions or when catering for group bookings
